Following on from our London adventure, we headed back up north for the Left Bank Spring Graff Jam and Lunch Breaks weekend at the end of April.
We were lucky enough to have some of the London heads from the Epic Jam collective join us.
Saturday saw the graff jam, with several invited writers working on huge boards set up outside the Left Bank’s imposing old church building.
Again, the weather behaved itself and there was food, drinks and music outside the venue. An impromptu Bboy jam sprung up to entertain the crowds!
The Bboys and girls returned on Sunday for the Lunch Breaks jam. A monthly, family friendly, all elements affair, with activities for the kids.
This was the first one in a while, due to lockdown and it was good to see faces old and new. It was another dope day, with a highlight being a friendly (ish!) battle between the Leeds breakers and visiting Epic Jam heads!
Hopefully, as lockdown restrictions lift, these events will become more regular. Peace y’all!
